Residential Lawn Maintenance in Livonia, Michigan.

Weekly mowing, clean lines, healthy turf, and a crew that shows up the same day every week. The kind of lawn the neighbors notice, then ask about.

A lawn that actually looks taken care of.

There is a particular look to a property that is on a real maintenance program. The cut is even. The bed lines are crisp. The hard surfaces are blown clean. Nothing is scalped, nothing is rutted, and you can tell the same crew has been here every week. That is the standard we keep across our Livonia, Novi, and Northville routes.

Blade Runners has been mowing in this part of metro Detroit since 1999. Our trucks roll out of Livonia every morning during the season, and most of the homes on our list have been with us for ten, fifteen, twenty years. The work is the only marketing that has ever really worked for us.

What's included on every visit.

Weekly mowing at the right height

Cut at the proper height for the season, with sharp blades and alternating patterns to keep the turf upright and healthy. No scalping, no ruts, no shortcuts.

Edging along walks and beds

Crisp mechanical edge along driveways, sidewalks, and bed lines. This single detail is what separates a maintained lawn from a mowed one.

Line trimming around everything

Around posts, trees, fences, AC units, and anything the mower cannot reach. Done at the same height as the cut so the finish reads as one continuous lawn.

Full blow-off of hard surfaces

Driveway, walks, porch, and patio cleared of clippings and debris before we leave. Your property looks finished, not in progress.

Seasonal turf care, on the same property.

The mowing program is the foundation. The seasonal services are what take a Michigan lawn from average to genuinely good. Because we are already on your property every week, we can time these without you having to coordinate a separate company.

Built into your schedule

  • Fertilization & weed control (multi-step)
  • Core aeration in fall
  • Overseeding for thin or worn areas
  • Spring dethatching when needed
  • Grub and pest treatments

Coordinated, not bolted on

  • Irrigation start-ups & check-ups
  • Bed maintenance & mulch refresh
  • Spring and fall property cleanups
  • Sod repair on damaged areas
  • Snow & ice service in winter

The Michigan season, honestly.

Our active mowing season typically runs late April through late October, give or take a couple of weeks depending on the year. We start when the turf is actually growing, not before. We stop when growth stops, not before. During mid-summer heat we may skip a week instead of mowing stressed turf. That is good lawn care, not lazy scheduling, and we will tell you what we are doing and why.

The crew runs commercial-grade equipment: large-deck zero-turns for open lawns, walk-behinds for slopes and tight cuts, and dedicated trim and blow tools for finish work. We do not show up with a homeowner mower and a leaf blower from a garage sale.

What you should not expect.

  • No scalped turf the first hot week of June
  • No tire ruts when the ground is soft after rain
  • No clippings left blown into your beds or pool
  • No different crew showing up every week
  • No surprise charges for normal trim or edge work
  • No silent skips during heat (we will tell you)

Our process, start to finish.

Common questions about lawn care.

How much does weekly lawn maintenance cost in Livonia?

Most residential weekly mowing programs in Livonia, Novi, and Northville fall between $45 and $95 per visit depending on lot size, terrain, and trim work. Larger estate properties price higher. We provide a flat per-visit rate after a quick walk-through, no surprise charges.

How often do you cut grass during the season?

We cut weekly through the active growing season (typically late April through late October in southeast Michigan). During slower growth weeks, mid-summer heat or late-season cool-down, we will skip a visit rather than mow grass that does not need it. Healthy turf reads better than a forced cut.

Do you require a contract for lawn care?

No long-term contract. Our residential mowing is season-based and you can cancel with reasonable notice. Most of our clients have been with us for many years because the work speaks for itself, not because they were locked in.

What is included in a standard mowing visit?

Every visit includes mowing at the proper height for the season, edging along walks, drives, and bed lines, line trimming around obstacles, and a full blow-off of all hard surfaces. Fertilization, aeration, overseeding, and bed work are scheduled separately so you can see what you are paying for.

Do you bag clippings or mulch them?

We mulch clippings on standard visits. Mulched clippings return nitrogen to the soil and produce a cleaner finish when cut at the right height. We will bag on request, typically for the first cut of spring or after extended rain delays when growth has gotten ahead.
