Northville is really three different towns layered on top of each other. We work in all of them.
Northville has a personality you don't get anywhere else on the west side. The historic downtown district feels like a small Michigan town that time treated kindly: brick storefronts, shaded sidewalks, century-old homes with original limestone walks. A few minutes away, you're in luxury subdivisions like Northville Hills, Stonewater, and Country Club Village where the standards lean estate. Push west into Northville Township and the lots open up, the wooded subdivisions on Six Mile and Seven Mile take over, and the work gets bigger again.
Each one gets handled differently. The historic district needs smaller equipment, careful trim work around heritage plantings, and a planting palette that respects the architecture. The newer subdivisions want sharper stripe patterns, well-defined bed lines, and entry plantings that hold up to corner-lot visibility. The Township estates ask for the full toolkit: hardscape, drainage work, specimen tree installs, and the occasional retaining wall solving a real grade problem.
Most of our Northville clients have us doing more than mowing.
